Pine Crest easily moves on to the district 26 championship with a 25-0 win over J.P. Taravella.  Ten players scored goals for the Panthers with Trevor Alpert and Zach Smith leading the way. Alpert had 5 goals and 1 assist, and Smith 4 goals and 2 assists.  Nick Greiner, in goal, had his second shutout of the season, and later, playing attack, scored a goal.  Sam Talkow controlled the face off x with a 71% face off win percentage (73% for the season), scored three goals and later, in goal, had the final save of the game. Other players scoring for the Panthers were: Sebastian Gutierrez with 2 goals, 5 assists,  Harris Stolzenberg with 3 goals 2 assists, Marc Woolf with 3 goals, 1 assist, Cody Shamon and Max Wheeler each with 1 goal and 1 assist, Michael McCue with 1 goal, and Max Cohen and Colin Hampton, each with 1 assist. The Panthers now move on to play Cardinal Gibbons who defeated Calvary Christian in a very close game earlier in the evening.
