Rollins College coaches announce TAR-NATION LAX CLINICS

With a mix of drills, controlled scrimmages and games, players receive top instruction in a fun environment.  Our clinics were developed to provide young athletes an opportunity to become better players by learning from the best area coaches and players. Instruction will concentrate on basics along with new advanced techniques to take their game to the next level.  This will be a skills clinic stressing and refining critical mechanics that are important at any level.  A typical day includes: shooting, dodging, transition play, agility, carrying-feeding, wall ball, proper defensive technique, and ground balls. Our goal at Tar-Nation Lax Clinics is to ensure the best learning experience for each player, no matter what your ability or age level, through great coaching and healthy competition.  We focus on giving each player individual attention while building confidence and ensuring a positive lacrosse experience for all…  Here is what you’ll receive:             – Tar-Nation pinny             – End of day raffles/prizes/contests             – Daily give-aways to all participants             -Prizes for MVP, Most Improved & Player of the Week  All participants are required to bring the following: -          Lacrosse stick, gloves, pads, helmets -          Mouth guard, Cleats/Turf shoes -          Signed health form Clinic Times (90 MINUTE SESSIONS) 3rd/4th grades – 3-4:30 5th/6th grades – 3-4: 7th/8th grades – 5-6:30 9th/12th grades – 7-8:30 PRE-SEASON CAMP TIMES Friday, 1/6 – 4:30 PM Saturday and Sunday, 1/7-1/8 – 3 PM STAFF  Run by Rollins College Men’s Lacrosse coaching staff including Head Coach, RJ Rossi, local high school coaches and special guest instructors.
