Nick Ranta, a 2013 midfielder at St. Andrew’s has decided to join legendary coach Richie Meade  at Furman.  Furman announced the addition of lacrosse and the hiring of Coach Richie Meade on Championship Weekend.  They will begin playing in the 2014 season.  Nick is the fourth Florida recruit to commit to Furman. From Nick, “After much consideration I decided to commit to the Furman University D1 program. I know I will have great opportunity with coach Richie Meade to grow and further develop my lacrosse skills. I would like to thank my parents and my brother for always supporting me and believing in me. And also wanted to thank CNY Roadhawks and coach Mike Stagnitta for allowing me to contribute to the team this past season and coach Staggs for helping me through the recruiting process.
