From ESPN760.com By: Wells Dusenbury During St. Andrew’s slow start in their win against Benjamin last week, head coach R.J. Dawson cited face-offs as the key reason they struggled out of the gate. The Scots didn’t have the same problem on Tuesday. St. Andrew’s went 20-23 at the draw, as they rolled over Boca Raton 18-2. Junior attackman Conor Whipple led the Scots with 7 goals and 1 assist in the win. Senior Jordan Todd added 4 goals and 2 assists, while junior midfielder Grant Mahler chipped in with 3 goals of his own. Boca Raton, playing in their first season in the FHSAA for lacrosse, looked to be one of the top area challengers to St. Andrew’s this year, but couldn’t get anything going against the Scots. Bobcats attackman Travis Giarratana scored Boca Raton’s lone two goals.
