Tampa Jesuit’s Andrew Scarpinato to Play for RPI

Tampa Jesuit senior Andrew Scarpinato has given his commitment to play for RPI next year.
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is located in Troy, N.Y. The Engineers compete in NCAA D-lll as members of the Liberty Athletic League. RPI had a great 2011 outing going 11-6 and going undefeated at home (7-0).
Andrew Scarpinato has maintained a 3.7 GPA and has helped lead his team to the IA state championship game two years in a row, and was also a first team all league attack-man as a junior. He will lead the Tigers in their first varsity season as a senior captain. “ I would like to thank my coaches Paul Goldsmith and John Matzke for all their help and guidance in brining my playing abilities to my full potential. I would also like to thank my parents for all of their support, and my brother Daniel for everything he has helped me with.”
