T.F.A. senior defender, Micah Lason is headed to High Point next year.  Micah plays for Lacrosse Club of Orlando as well as T.F.A. Micah Larson has been a starter at The First Academy since his freshman year. During that time he has become the team record holder in GB and take-aways.  As a team captain his junior year Micah headed a stout defense allowing less than 7 goals against per game on a team that has two 12 win seasons in one of Florida’s top districts. At 6’1 215 lbs, Micah is also a standout inside linebacker for the Royals football team. The Royals head coach, David Oliver said, “We are all very excited to see Micah receive the attention he deserves and become just one more D1 player committing from the state of Florida. He was extremely impressed by his visit to High Point University NC and is also extremely happy to be playing for Coach Torpey and the HPU staff.” Micah would like to say how grateful he is for the Love and support of his mom Ladelle and his father, the late Scott Larson. He is also grateful for the awesome opportunity that coach Torpey has given him to play college lacrosse.
