Timber Creek let’s the rubber fly in 18-9 win over Bishop Moore

Timber Creek fired 51 shots in their high-scoring victory over Bishop Moore at Lake Highland Prep on Friday night. Timber Creek led after the first quarter 5-2.  Bishop Moore cut the lead to 2 goals by half time, but the second half was all Timber Creek as they out- scored Bishop Moore 10-3 in the second half to win the game 18-9. Jake Rooney (Hofstra) led the powerful TC offense with 4 goals and 5 assists and 9 shots on goal.  Blake Gwizdalski (Florida Southern) found the net 5 times and picked up an assist as well.  Max Bush (Jacksonville) scored 4 goals and 2 assist, Kyle Plaugher (Florida Southern) had 2 goals and 2 assists, Sophomore Scott Turner scored twice and Anthony Catoni scored 1 goal. Bishop Moore scoring was led by Matt Catan with 4 goals and one assist, Addison Lanpher scored twice, and Ben Brockman, Luke Liberty, and Jack Tangeman each added a goal.
