FloridaLacrosseNews.com has confirmed that Windermere Prep Head Coach, Tom Korrie, has been named the new Head Lacrosse Coach and Assistant Athletic Director at All Saints Academy. Before taking over the struggling program at Windermere Prep, Tom Korrie was the head coach at Timber Creek HS (Orlando) and at RPI before that. Korrie played at Syracuse University where he led the Orange in goals in 1984 and 1986 and total points in 1986. The previous ASA Head Coach, Chris Sussingham, will remain on the staff as Middle School Coach and Youth Directory. All Saints Academy is a 600 student MS/HS located in Polk County. The Saints compete in FHSAA District 15 and finished last season with a 5-7 mark. Korrie explained the sudden move which took place over the Christmas break saying, “It was time for me to move from the classroom to administration and continue my coaching from there. It is not clear what the future holds for the Windermere Prep lacrosse program. We are currently awaiting confirmation as to whether or not they intend to continue with the season.
