Volunteers Needed – Community Service Hours are Available The U15 Girls’ and Boys’ National Championships are in need of volunteers to run the clocks and man the scorer’s tables.  You can get free admission to the event and if you are in need of community service hours this is a great way to enjoy some good lacrosse and book some hours!  Anyone interested should contact Mary Hopkins at mertiehop@aol.com. This fourth annual championship event provides the highest level of national lacrosse competition for U15 boys’ and girls’ teams and an opportunity for players, coaches and families to develop relationships with others in the national lacrosse community. There are several Florida teams represented this year including the Blue Devil Elite,  Palm Beach Storm, Florida Swashbucklers, JLC, LCO, and Team Florida.  The Florida girls will be represented by the Stickbenders and LaxManiax. The 2012 US Lacrosse U15 National Championships, Powered by Lacrosse Unlimited, represent US Lacrosse’s signature youth event, blending elite competition for a national championship with our sport’s time-honored traditions of sportsmanship and fair play. Fifty-one of the best teams in the country (26 boys, 25 girls) will compete for the one and only US Lacrosse U15 National Championship and be showcased alongside top athletes from other sports at the ESPNHS Games. The Field: Regional Champions, Semifinalists and At-Large Bids The field for the US Lacrosse U15 National Championships has been announced. US Lacrosse Regional Championships in Arizona (June 1-3), Texas (June 8-10) and North Carolina (June 15-17) yieleded many of the teams that qualified for the U15 National Championship. Regional champions, runners-up and semifinalists received automatic invitations with free or discounted registration to the National Championship.
