University High School senior Frank Schornagle has committed to Florida Institute of Technology.  Frank is a two sport athlete who swims for UHS in addition to playing lacrosse for the Cougars.  He plays his club ball for the Orlando Possums.   He led the team this season to their best season yet, going 9-7 with two losses in OT. Frank intends to study Engineering at FIT, one of the nation’s top-ranked engineering programs. FIT is a new program which is going to begin play in the fall of 2011 and will compete in NCAA Division II.  FloridaLacrosseNews.com had a chance to interview coach McAleavey earlier this spring.  You can read that interview here http://insidefloridalacrosse.com/?p=531 Frank says that he “Wishes the University lacrosse program the best of luck and hopes they grow to become a district contender one day.”  He also wants to send out, “Special thanks to Coach Hal Roby and Sean Davidson for mentoring him through his senior year.”
