Keiser 11-0, 6-0 AAC | Cumberlands 7-3, 2-2 AAC
Keiser men’s lacrosse remained undefeated on the season with a big win versus No. 4 University of the Cumberlands this evening. The Seahawks were able to get off to a quick start offensively, and held off the Patriot offense in the second half to move to 11-0, 6-0 on the year.
Keiser 4, Cumberlands 1
- Keiser scored the first goal of the day on a shot from Braeden Niemy 60 seconds into the game.
- Cole Stassi put the ‘Hawks up by two on a goal with 11:22 on the clock.
- After assisting the previous two goals, Jack Gillen scored a goal of his own with one minute gone.
- The Patriots got their first goal of the game with 8:39 on the board.
- Vincent Cerasuolo scored unassisted with 15 seconds to go in the quarter.
Keiser 5, Cumberlands 2
- In a defensive oriented second quarter, Braeden Niemy scored his second goal of the day with 3:14 on the clock with a Gillen assist.
- UC scored their second goal with 1:27 to go in the half.

Keiser 9, Cumberlands 3
- The Patriots scored the first goal of the second half with 7:04 on the clock.
- The goal by Cumberlands seemed to ignite the Seahawk offense, which answered with a goal just 30 seconds later courtesy of Cole Stassi.
- Two minutes after that, AJ Badik hit the net unassisted.
- With 10 seconds left in the quarter, Badik scored another goal, with no assist.
- On the ensuing faceoff, Cam Provines quickly won the faceoff, raced to the net and scored his second goal of the year with just four seconds on the clock.

Keiser 10, Cumberlands 6
- The Patriots fought hard to get back in the contest, and scored a goal with 11:23 left in the game.
- In response, AJ Badik completed his third hat trick of the year with another unassisted goal.
- Cumberlands added two goals within 20 seconds of each other to cut the Keiser lead down to four.
- The Keiser defense stood its ground the rest of the way, and fended off six Patriot shots to win the game, 10-6.
- Keiser outshot Cumberlands 48-29.
- Cam Provines was dominant on the faceoff x, going 17-18.
- Jack Gillen scored a team-leading four goals.
- KU caused 18 turnovers.
- The Seahawks picked up 45 groundballs.
