Lacrosse Falls to Liberty 18-11

Stetson lacrosse fell to Liberty 18-11, on Friday afternoon.
 
The Hatters fell behind early but were able to get one back before the end of the period on a goal from Jordyn Humphrey
 
In the second period the Flames added three more goals before Humphrey tallied her second goal of the game. After two more goals by Liberty, Maya Sellinger scored for Stetson making it 9-3. At the half the Hatters trailed 13-3.
 
Humphrey completed her hat trick in the third period and Georgia Goering tallied her first of the game. Going into the fourth quarter Stetson trailed 17-5. 
 
In the fourth period, Stetson outscored Liberty 6-1. Sara Freeman tallied the first goal of the quarter with Molly KearneyKatie KornackiKaitlin Pani and Sam King all scoring a goal. Humphrey also added her fourth of the contest.
 
Humphrey has now scored 37 goals this season while also adding 25 assists for 62 points. She is followed by Sam King in goals who has 27 and Kaitlin Pani in points with 35. 
 
Stetson will now host Lindenwood on Thursday April 4. That game will begin at 6pm at the Athletic Training Center.
