No. 1 Lake Mary Boys’ Lacrosse Shines in Orlando Area Showdown with No. 5 Lake Highland

The undefeated Lake Mary Rams verified their No. 1 ranking and then some in a one-sided 11-6 boys lacrosse road win at Lake Highland Prep on Monday night.

“We had good spurts in the first half,” Rams coach Gary Robinson said. “We came out in the first half with the proper effort, a good intensity and talented play.”

The Rams (13-0) are ranked No. 1 in the FHSAA and No. 1 in the Southeast by USA Lax Magazine.

Junior midfielder Aaron Tichonoff led Lake Mary with 4 goals. Junior attackers Myles Guthrie, Riley Turner and Carson Hinshaw each scored 2 goals.

“He’s been consistent all year long,” Robinson said of Tichonoff. “He’s starting to become very reliable.”
