Carli Fleisher, a Northwestern-bound attacker from American Heritage-Delray (Fla.), is the USA Lacrosse Magazine National High School Girls’ Player of the Year, the publication announced Monday.
Fleisher, the Sun Sentinel lacrosse player of the year, led American Heritage-Delray to the No. 4 ranking in the South Region and an 18-3 record. Named to the second wave of 11 girls who have been selected to compete in the 17th-annual Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Game, Fleisher transferred from Stoneman Douglas (Fla.) for this season and was an instant leader for the Stallions.
