Danny Riley and Dylan Rupprecht earn SAC Player of the Week accolades

Rock Hill, S.C.—-Wingate University senior attack Danny Riley has been named the WePlayed Sports South Atlantic Conference Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, league officials announced Monday afternoon. Sophomore face-off specialist Dylan Rupprecht is the SAC Specialist of the Week. Riley earns Player of the Week accolades for the first time this season and second time in his career, while Rupprecht earns the honor for the first time in his career.

The duo led #8 Wingate to a pair of dominant SAC victories last week, as the Bulldogs moved to 8-3 overall and 5-1 in the SAC. Wingate prevailed 19-6 against Catawba on Wednesday, then rolled to a 23-3 victory over Lincoln Memorial Saturday.
