JAX’s Intrieri and AF’s Marek Claim Weekly Awards

ATLANTA – Jacksonville’s Jackson Intrieri and Air Force’s Jake Marek earned this week’s Atlantic Sun Conference Men’s Lacrosse honors, announced Tuesday by the league office.

Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week
Jackson Intrieri, Jacksonville
Junior | Attack | Ambler, Pa.
– First Career ASUN Player of the Week selection; 10th honor in Jacksonville program history
– Totaled nine goals and four assists for 13 points on the week for the Dolphins
– Found the back of the net seven times in a 21-9 road win against Detroit Mercy
– Followed up at home with three assists and two goals in a 20-5 defeat of Lindenwood
– Placed 12 of his 20 shot attempts on goal for a .600 SOG% across the two victories

– First Career ASUN Defensive Player of the Week selection; sixth honor in Air Force program history
– Helped the Falcons to their sixth consecutive conference victory
– Made 11 saves with just one goal allowed in 45 minutes against Detroit Mercy
– Notched a career-best saves total to earn his second win of the season
– Added three ground balls to go along with his .917 save percentage on the day
