DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Embry-Riddle head men’s lacrosse coach Jon Jez has announced the addition of Dylan Curry as the Eagles’ assistant coach.

“We are extremely excited to have Dylan join our staff,” Jez said. “His enthusiasm and energy are what we need to elevate the program. He is a tireless worker and recruiter with vast on field knowledge.”

A native of Wilmette, Illinois, Curry was an All-American at New Trier High School. After graduating from New Trier, Curry was recruited by Monmouth University and was a member of the Hawks’ inaugural recruiting class. In his senior season, he helped Monmouth to the program’s first Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference regular season and tournament titles.

Curry began his coaching career at Middletown North High School in New Jersey where he was a defensive coordinator and faceoff coach from 2018-20. He also spent four seasons with United Lacrosse where he coached the United 2023 team and worked with the defensive and faceoff units for the entire United program.

In 2020, Curry was selected as a graduate assistant coach at Castleton University in Vermont. In addition to coaching individual goalie, faceoff and defensive drills, he played a key role in the Spartans’ recruiting efforts.

Curry was then hired as the assistant coach of the men’s lacrosse program at Keene State in June 2022. He was the defensive coordinator and faceoff coach for an Owls program that tied for second in the Little East Conference and advanced to the semifinals of the LEC tournament.

Curry graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Monmouth and earned his MBA with a concentration in analysis from Castleton.
