Since their existence, the Gulf Breeze girls and boys lacrosse teams have each dominated the sport and been the premier programs in the area.

On Monday, both Dolphin squads solidified their standing with emphatic victories and added yet another District title to their trophy case.

The girls captured their sixth consecutive District crown by by crushing West Florida 18-2 in the District 1-1A final from Marlon L. Bullock Field. In the nightcap, the boys also put in 18 goals on the board in a 18-5 victory over longtime rival Pensacola Catholic. For the boys, it’s their third straight District title and fourth in the last five years.
