Bernhardt Lacrosse Camp was excited to put on our annual winter camp on December, 22nd. This year’s campers consisted of youth aged players ranging from 2nd grade through 8th grade. As always, the building blocks for camp are based around the following Program Philosophy & Approach as well as our Mission. This is regardless of age, number of campers or talent level. Program Philosophy & Approach: “Substance Over Style”
  1. Focus on safety, quality instruction, quality instructors and commitment to teaching.
  2. Syllabus: Age appropriate syllabus and teaching progression.
  3. Make the experience fun and fulfilling.
  4. Offer an array of levels focusing on fundamentals, learning the game, development, discipline/life skills and competing. Never forget to maintain…
The program properly develops fundamentals, skills, IQ, strategic planning, preparation, work ethic and enjoyment of the game to all athletes who go through the program.  Our campers were able to learn from “homegrown” players that all made their start in the Lake Brantley area. The counselors consisted of some of the best players ever to come out of Lake Brantley, out of Central FL, out of FL and in the country. They were all former Bernhardt Lacrosse campers!
