I chose the University of Michigan for its great education and the opportunity to play Division one lacrosse at a high level. What are your first memories of the sport? My first memories of lacrosse are going to Sunday scrimmages to see if lacrosse was a sport I wanted to pursue and I ended up loving the sport. What part of the process was most surprising to you about the recruiting process and what would you like to pass on to those who are going to face it in the future? I fractured my L5 disk in my back during my sophomore year and thought my chances of playing Division one were extremely small. Despite my setback, I maintained a hard work ethic in both lacrosse and academics and was able to commit to Michigan my senior year. Who would you like to thank for helping you get here? Kevin Martin, the recruiting director for Sweetlax, was extremely helpful throughout the recruiting process. He was always talking to colleges about me and provided me with great advice whenever I needed it.
