Erin Bakes Named MVP of Under Armour All American Game After Scoring OT Winner!

  Ransom Everglades graduate Erin Bakes was named the MVP for the for the 2018 Girls Under Armour All Star Game over the weekend!  This game only invites 44 seniors from around the country, so just being named to the game is pretty rare for a Florida participant, but to win the MVP after scoring the OT goal is something else!  A great achievement for a young lady that was not granted All American status locally . . . Excerpt: For the second-straight year, the girls’ Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic ended with a thrilling overtime victory as the South defeated the North, 10-9. The South’s Maddie Jenner secured the final draw control (her fifth of the game) at the beginning of the overtime period and Erin Bakes capitalized with an unassisted goal to seal the win. Bakes, a midfielder from Miami (Fla.) heading to USC, received game MVP honors after her two-goal performance and game-winner.
