Why did you choose this college?
Belmont Abbey is a perfect fit for me. It is a small college, in a metropolitan area, and it has a competitive lacrosse program.
What are your first memories of the sport?
My earliest memories are of watching my dad play lacrosse. I also remember my granddad writing 110% on a piece of tape and putting it on my first stick. I now have 110% dyed on my lacrosse head.
What part of the process was most surprising to you about the recruiting process and what would you like to pass on to those who are going to face it in the future?
The whole process can be overwhelming. My advice would be to stay in contact with coaches that reach out to you. Communication is key to a successful recruiting process.
Who would you like to thank for helping you get here?
I have had so many influential coaches from high school to club. They have taught me the game of lacrosse and helped me to grow as a player and a person. The Pensacola Riptide men’s team certainly deserve big thanks. They have taken me under their wings and taught me an incredible amount. I would like to thank my parents and sister most of all. They are my biggest supporters and none of this would have been possible without them.
