I chose Alderson Broaddus University because I feel my talent will be best showcased there. It is a place that will allow me to grow and mature as a player and a person. Coach Mallonee has helped me through every step of the recruiting process by providing me with all the information on the school, program and how he envisions utilizing my talents. What are your first memories of the sport? My first memories of lacrosse is from first season as a Sophomore. I didn’t really have a full season because I joined late, but I fell so in love with the game very quickly as most do. I knew then and there that this game would be my everything. What part of the process was most surprising to you about the recruiting process and what would you like to pass on to those who are going to face it in the future? The most surprising part of the recruitment process was when it came time to decide. I thought I had my mind set on Alderson, but when it came time to commit I began to have doubts due to others trying to change my mind. I took a step back and realized this is what I wanted and committed. I suggest anyone going into it to think of yourself and what you want, it’s your future. Who would you like to thank for helping you get here? I’d like to thank Coach Rickard for helping me through my high school lacrosse career. Not a lot of people believed in me with this sport, but he stuck through and helped me become the play i am now. I’d also like to thank my former teammates Mark Maldonaldo and Ariel Perez. Those guys took me under their wings and showed me everything i know. Love all three of these men like family.
