This game will be the team’s Star Wars and Space Night presented by the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium. Face-off is set for 4PM, and gates open at 1:30PM. Get in early to experience the fun with our Star Wars characters and Space themed events. Fans can also watch the game live on LSN. The Launch come into the matchup 1-1, after their first home loss since May 13, 2017. Midfielder Tim Barber scored his first two-pointer of his career, as well as the first two-point goal for the Launch this season. In the defeat, Ryan Drenner led the team scoring with his first hat trick of his professional career while Steven Brooks added three assists and the franchise leader in saves, Austin Kaut, made 13 saves in cage. In the first two games of the season, the emergence and dominance of the Launch second year players has been critical. Attackmen Ryan Drenner and Dylan Molloy lead the offensive charge in points this season, and Sergio Salcido is currently the team leader in goals with five. Nick Mariano and Jarrod Neumann have also tallied clutch goals for the Launch as the stud second year players, including attackman Tom Moore, account for 76.5% of the Launch offensive fire power. Coach Mariano sees the improvement from these young players, telling LSN, “One of the biggest jumps in the league for players is year one to year two. It looks like our guys have put the time in to improve and it’s exciting to see it pay off for them all.” If the offensive unit isn’t scary enough, the Launch franchise leader in points, goals and assists, Kieran McArdle will jump back into to the lineup for Sunday. Players to Watch:  Steven Brooks – M – 4 goals, three groundballs on the year. One goal away from second in franchise history in goals scored as a Launch player (passing Casey Powell). Can jump to 11th place all-time with one more two-point goal. Connor Buczek – M – tied with Brooks for second in all-time goals in a Launch uniform. Jonathan Paige – FO – entering his first MLL game after getting picked up from the team’s Open Tryouts in March. Kieran McArdle – A – first game back from the NLL season. Franchise leader in career points, goals and assists. Also leader in season goals with 43 in 2015. Ryan Drenner  – A – Tied for team leader in points this season (6). Recorded first professional hat trick last week against Chesapeake. Leads the team in groundballs. The Denver Outlaws come into FAU Stadium on a two game losing streak, most recently an overtime loss at the hands of the Rattlers. Attackman Matt Kavanagh will be one player the defense will have to look out for. In the Outlaws loss, the attacking duo of Kavanagh and Eric Law were responsible for nine of the teams 14 goals.
