via JU press release   In 2010, Jacksonville University made history as the only institution in Florida to offer Division I men’s and women’s lacrosse teams. Opening this fall prior to the Dolphins 10th anniversary season, the Jacksonville Lacrosse Center (JLC) is set to join just a handful of lacrosse-only facilities across the country. With new naming opportunities within the JLC, Jacksonville University Athletics invites alumni, friends, family, and fans of the men’s and women’s lacrosse programs to leave a lasting legacy for future generations of Dolphin student-athletes. Whether it’s sponsoring a locker, engraving a brick paver, or showing your pride as an alumnus of Jacksonville Lacrosse by participating in the Alumni Legacy program, Jacksonville University Athletics welcomes you to join our history and tradition as the Lacrosse Capital of the South. JLC LEGACY OPPORTUNITIES Locker Sponsorship | $10,000 You have an opportunity to make a unique and personal connection to current and future lacrosse student-athletes when you sponsor a locker in this state-of-the-art facility. By investing in Jacksonville Lacrosse at the $10,000 level, your name, family’s name, or business will be commemorated on one of the 95 lockers in the new men’s and women’s lacrosse locker rooms. Donors may sponsor a locker on either the men’s or women’s side and each named locker will have a personalized plaque displayed in recognition of their gift. *Lockers are limited and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Brick Paver | $1,000 Be among the first to purchase a personalized brick paver for the Jacksonville Lacrosse Center. An ideal way for family and friends to show your pride and support, your engraved commemorative paver will become a lasting tribute on the facility. Brick pavers can be purchased for a one-time price of $1,000 and you may personalize your brick with a name, special date, quote, or company. Alumni Legacy Plaque | $100 Any JU Lacrosse alumnus is eligible and welcome to participate in the Alumni Legacy program. These exclusive pieces serve as an example of tradition and legacy to future generations of Dolphin student-athletes. For a one-time gift of $100, each graduate’s name, years of participation, and jersey number will be engraved on their respective program’s plaque outside the locker room. *Family and friends may dedicate an engraving on behalf of an alum, but only alumni names will be displayed.
