Jacksonville University women’s lacrosse announced eleven players signed National Letters of Intent to join the Dolphins in the fall of 2018. With the addition of the latest recruiting class, the Dolphins continue the trend of bringing in the best and the brightest from around the country. The group represents four different states, including Florida, Georgia, Maryland, and New York.

“ON THE FIELD, WE BELIEVE THAT THIS IS THE DEEPEST CLASS WE HAVE EVER HAD; THERE IS SOME TREMENDOUS LENGTH AND RANGE AND GREAT SPEED AS USUAL,” SAID HEAD COACH MINDY MCCORD. “IT’S A TERRIFIC CLASS AND THEY WILL COMPLEMENT THE CURRENT PLAYERS VERY WELL AND COMPETE IMMEDIATELY FOR ACTION.”

Added McCord, “This class will reinforce our style of play and allow us to flex our lineups in many ways. The System requires constant pace of play and speed. This class is very much built from the back line forward with some of the finest defensive players we have ever recruited, and a group of ball hawk possession players who can transition the ball. Best of all, they all get along so well and are cultural ambassadors of our team concept. At JU, the ball is the star; the team is the star. These ladies embody that mindset.”
