MCLA: FAU Lacrosse Wraps Up Regular Season With 15-13 Win Over Miami

Sunday, April 16th marked the end of Florida Atlantic University’s Spring 2018 season culminating in a victory over The University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL. The Owls finished the regular season with a record of 7-3, making it the best year in the programs history, and the first year the Owls qualify for post-season play.
On Sunday, the Owls, who trailed 9-8 at the end of the 3rd quarter, rallied in the fourth with 7 goals to secure the win. When all was said and done the final score was 15-13.
Wrapping up the historic season, FAU claimed top spots in DII with four players currently in the Top 150 of the MCLA.

Just outside of the top 100, A. Seth Travis was ranked #111, A. Robert Seguin came in at #150, and M. Ricky Melvin garnered the #164 spot. Respectively, they are #8, #9, #16, #23 and #25 in the SELC conference (April 17, 2018).
This Friday, The Owls will be in Johns Creek, GA for the 2018 SELC tournament, taking on North #2 Wake Forest at 5:30pm at Alpharetta HS.
