Michael Unterstein Suspension Reduced to One Game

  via MLL press release
BOSTON (September 5, 2017) – Florida Launch midfielder Michael Unterstein had his two-game suspension reduced to one game after filing an appeal of the Aug. 21 decision to the commissioner’s office. The ruling stems from a cross check on Ohio Machine defenseman Steven Waldeck in the fourth quarter of the MLL Semi-Finals on August 12. Commissioner David Gross announced the decision today. The hit occurred with 19 seconds remaining in regulation. The Machine won the game, 18-13, to advance to the MLL Championship. In 13 games for the Launch last season, Unterstein had three goals, one assist, four points and 26 groundballs. Unterstein will serve his suspension at the beginning of the 2018 regular season.
