MLL: Lizards Acquire Mike Bocklet from Denver

  via MLL press release
BOSTON (September 18, 2017) – The New York Lizards on Monday acquired attackman Mike Bocklet in a trade from the Denver Outlaws in exchange for New York’s seventh-round pick in the 2018 MLL Supplemental Draft and its fourth-round selection in the 2018 MLL Collegiate Draft.
Bocklet, 32, made his first MLL All-Star Game this past season and led the Outlaws in goals with 37. He matched his career high with 48 points and appeared in 13 games. Bocklet scored four goals in two playoff games this year for Denver en route to the team’s second straight appearance in the MLL Championship Game. In three seasons with the Outlaws, Bocklet tallied 98 goals, 42 assists and 140 points in 38 games. He averaged 47 points per season in that span. The Outlaws signed the Fairfield product after an open tryout prior to the 2015 season and he went on to lead the team in points that year (48). He has two brothers, Matt and Chris, who play for Denver and Atlanta, respectively.
New York lost attackman Tommy Palasek last week when he agreed to a contract with Atlanta in Player Movement.
