ABOUT THE RATTLERS (4-2): Among players with more than three games played this season, Ty Thompson was the most efficient shooter in the league through five weeks (.563). He has multiple goals in each of his last nine games dating back to last season and has already set a new career high in goals for a single season (18).

ABOUT THE MACHINE (2-1): Tom Schreiber is just one point away from 200 points in his MLL career. He has 87 goals and 110 assists in 51 career games since 2015. Through five weeks, Schreiber was tied with Charlotte’s Matt Rambo for the third-most assists in the league, despite playing two fewer games than every other player in the top three.
