PBA: Women’s Lacrosse Falls To Embry-Riddle

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic women’s lacrosse fell behind early and never recovered against Embry-Riddle, losing to the Eagles 22-5.

The Sailfish trailed 7-0 before Jasmine Rogell got PBA on the board nine minutes into the contest. Morgan LeBlanc and Alyssa Yates added goals in the first half as ERAU took a 14-3 lead into halftime.

Chanel Nassir and Grace Bartlinski added goals late in the second half for PBA while Julia del Carmen assisting on both scores. Bartlinski’s goal gives her 31 on the year and currently leads the team. Sarah Vernarelli made seven saves in net for the ‘Fish.

The Sailfish are back in action on Saturday as they travel to Saint Leo on Saturday for a 2 p.m. start with the Lions.
