Presenting the Sunshine State Conference Digital Network

  via the SSC web site   MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference is proud to announce the launch of a conference-wide digital network. Now, for the first time in league history, all video content produced by the SSC and its 11 member institutions will be available in one place. The SSC Digital Network, which provides live content free to consumers, begins distribution on Friday, September 1st with a full slate of volleyball and soccer matches. Fans can now access high-quality video streams of SSC events across multiple platforms by visiting SunshineStateConference.tv on your computer or mobile device. The SSC Digital Network also offers custom-built apps, which are available now on Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Android TV with a Roku app coming soon. These applications provide SSC fans a seamless way to access content directly on their TVs – with no need to “relay” or “cast” the stream from tablets, phones, or desktop computers. Users can access the content simply by searching for “Sunshine State” within the interface of their choice and then downloading the free app. League administrators chose Stretch Internet as the official streaming partner of the Sunshine State Conference Digital Network. With Stretch Internet, visitors to the digital network will find an easy to view conference-wide schedule of live, upcoming, and on-demand broadcasts. They will also have the option to filter by school and sport. Members have won a total of 102 NCAA national championships across 12 sports. During the 2016-17 academic year, SSC schools won three national titles and achieved a NCAA Division II best 86% Academic Success Rate. The SSC consists of 11 member institutions, all within the state of Florida: Barry University (Miami Shores), Eckerd College (St. Petersburg), Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Daytona Beach), Florida Institute of Technology (Melbourne), Florida Southern College (Lakeland), Lynn University (Boca Raton), Nova Southeastern University (Ft. Lauderdale), Palm Beach Atlantic University (West Palm Beach), Rollins College (Winter Park), Saint Leo University (Saint Leo), and the University of Tampa.
