PV’s Schalit, Oxbridge’s Tomei Named First Annual FSLCA Mr. Florida Award Winners!
Gainesville, FL May 21 — The Florida State Lacrosse Coaches Association (FSLCA.org) is proud to announce the inaugural divisional winners of the FSLCA Mr. Florida Lacrosse award.
1A Christian Tomei, Oxbridge Academy – Goalie The Ohio State University
2A Maximus Schalit, Ponte Vedra HS – Defense University of Notre Dame
“The Florida State Lacrosse Coaches Association congratulates our 2019 award winning student-athletes and their high school programs,” said Jonathan Montes, President of the FSLCA. “Christian Tomei and Maximus Schalit highlight the type of lacrosse talent that the state of Florida produces.”
FSLCA Mr. Florida Lacrosse award is given annually to the best senior high school lacrosse players in the state of Florida by division.
“The pool of nominees was exceptional,” said Dan McAuliffe, Award Chairman. “The FSLCA is proud to have Christian and Maximus as our inaugural Mr. Florida Lacrosse award winners. We look forward to building on this tradition for many years to come.”
