Noteworthy events during game

The Ponte Vedra Sharks traveled to the Baltimore/D.C. area to take on the nations best H.S. lacrosse teams. Scheduled games against the Gilman Schools and Boys Latin. And what a great 1st game..our PV boys gave it their all, and fell to national powerhouse Gilman School, 11-9. The Sharks showed that Florida lacrosse is a force to be reckoned with. The game was fairly even in goalie saves and face off’s. PV Sophomore Nolan Parlette made some outstanding saves in net. Joe Taraboletti (University of Denver commit) led the Sharks with 4 goals. Harvard commit Sam King(Gilman) lead the Greyhounds with 4 goals as well. Boys Latin is next up for the Sharks on Saturday.
