After being down 4-1 in the 4th quarter, West Broward made a run and gained momentum but fell short in the final seconds of the contest. American Heritage-Plantation goalie, Jake Marek, came up huge with a save in the final 20 seconds to hold on for the win. Both defenses were stout, allowing little to no inside looks. Neither defense allowed an EMO goal on the 14 combined attempts between the two teams.
