It’s not unheard of these days, but it’s not the norm, either. Then again, Caitlyn isn’t a normal lacrosse player, even by All-American standards. She captained the American Heritage-Delray high school program as a seventh grader. In eighth grade, she became the first girls’ lacrosse player to put up 100 points and 100 assists in a single season, according to the National Federation of State High School Associations record books. She did the same as a freshman, and if you thought opposing defenses would catch on to her game and put her in a sophomore slump, you thought wrong. Caitlyn produced a 105-goal, 116-assist line this year, leading American Heritage-Delray to its first state title and earning her third straight All-America nod.   Read the rest HERE
