(South Florida) The South Florida Leatherbacks have announced the tryouts for their Fall and Summer teams. This year, the Leatherbacks will be holding tryouts for teams at the U8, U10, U12, and U14 levels. Tryouts for the U8 and U10 teams will be held on Sunday, August 26^th and will run from 1:30p to 3:30pm. Tryouts for the U12 and U14 teams will also take place on Sunday, August 26^th and will run from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. The South Florida Leatherbacks are a youth club lacrosse program bringing experienced and qualified coaches to train with and develop players into skilled athletes. As a Leatherback, players will be a part of a consistent training schedule with top coaches in the area to develop stick skills and lacrosse IQ. Weekly training sessions will help players develop their lacrosse skill-set while also competing in Fall tournaments. This year’s Leatherbacks Fall schedule will include ten practices and three tournaments; two local and one travel.  Seasonal pricing will vary team to team based on player availability, player and parent input, and individualized team schedules. Potential tournaments for this Fall include the Gold Coast Shootout, Turkey Shootout, and Orlando open. The cost to tryout is $35.
