Why did you choose this college?
I chose RPI for it’s academic rigor as well as the high level of lacrosse that it offers. When I stepped onto campus I felt a connection to the school and I knew that I would be successful as a student-athlete there.
What are your first memories of the sport?
My first lacrosse memories are from when I played my first season of Boca Jets rec league lacrosse when I was six years old. Since then, lacrosse has become a huge part of my life and and I am thrilled to be able to continue playing at the next level.
What part of the process was most surprising to you about the recruiting process and what would you like to pass on to those who are going to face it in the future?
The most surprising part of the recruiting process is the sheer number of schools offering great programs. There are so many schools out there, and seeing sidelines filled with college coaches can be overwhelming. For players that will be going through the recruiting process in the near future, I would say to not be discouraged if the school you want doesn’t work out for you, because there will always be an opportunity for you to play at the next level, whether it be NCAA or MCLA. Just don’t get discouraged because there is a fit out there for you.
Who would you like to thank for helping you get here?
I would like to thank my teammates, family, and coaches for making me into the student-athlete that I am today. I have been so fortunate to have a great support system and I can’t thank them enough.
