Stetson lacrosse opens the home portion of its 2021 schedule this weekend when the Hatters host Florida, 1 p.m., Saturday at the Athletic Training Center.
Saturday’s game marks Florida’s first-ever visit to the ATC.
Stetson (0-1) opened the season on Feb. 20 with a 15-5 loss at Campbell. Marina Rotella scored twice for the Hatters while Maria Snee, Jacklyn Lavoie and Taylor Zuberer each scored once.
Florida (2-1) is a member of the American Athletic Conference for lacrosse. The Gators have victories this season against Louisville and Kennesaw State. Florida’s only loss is to to-ranked North Carolina.
Two players – Grace Haus and Shannon Kavanaugh – lead Florida with 7 goals apiece.
