Coach O’Leary’s Insight On using the past as a lesson: “We don’t really talk much about it. The past is the past and this is a brand new season for us. Colorado coming in here is no different. They are an excellent team, really well coached and they have some really great offensive players. They are sound defensively, especially in goal, so this is a great team.” On not overlooking teams because they have beaten them earlier in the season: “That is the big thing, it happened last year against USC. We have learned from that – we can’t take any team for granted. This team knows that going into the game, it was one of their mantras this entire season. They know they have to take it one game at a time and need to succeed every day.” ‘s Thoughts: On team’s mindset going into NCAAs: “With it being tournament time, you either advance or you go home. Being here the past two years, we ended our season kind of early on an unexpected loss for us – we’re using that to fuel the fire. We’re going out there every day, we’re practicing hard, and we’re looking towards this weekend as, again, it’s win or go home, so we got to go in there hard and ready to play this weekend.” On early exits the last two years: “You’ve got to learn from your mistakes, so it’s not something that we want to focus on necessarily, but we want to learn from it. We want to remember that feeling; remember that it’s not fun. It’s not fun to go home early when you know you can make it far and you have that ability, so we’re remembering that feeling, but we’re not focusing on the loss.” Florida Quick Facts
