TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa women’s lacrosse team defeats the Saint Leo Lions 12-6.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
1st Half
- The Lions had the first goal of the game at 29:03
- The Spartans answered back with a goal from Kayla Kosubinsky.
- Saint Leo scored three unanswered goals.
- Claire Swanson scored with 14:30 left.
- Caroline Forester scored off an assist from Rachel Crawford.
- Saint Leo scored two more goals to close out the half with the lead of 6-3.
- Swanson scored her second goal of the game with an assist from Carly Vaccaro.
- Vaccaro scored with 23:47 left in the game.
- Third goal for Swanson was scored at 21:18.
- A free position goal was scored by Vaccaro.
- Swanson with another unassisted goal with 15:13 left in the game.
- Rachel Crawford assisted a goal for Vaccaro.
- The Spartans scored two goals withing 20 seconds of each other. Both goals were from Maggie Gladden and assisted by Vaccaro.
- Free position goal from Crawford with 4:08 left.
- Tampa won 12-6.
- Swanson led the Spartans in goals with four goals.
