Florida Left Out of the Final 44 Selected for the Girl’s U16/U18 USA Select Team

via USALacrosse.Com

FLN: 5 Florida Boys made the final 44, none made the Girls final 44. But 8 of the 44 slots went to TWO Club programs . . . kind of makes you wonder. We keep producing high-end talent, so either it’s ‘wait ’til next year’ or ‘No Floridian Needs to Apply’.

The U18 is more diverse in their Club representations, as it looks like 17 clubs appear to be represented, but should there be a limit to how many of a college commitment class makes this? Isn’t it about growing the game too?

On the other hand, for the U16, THIRTEEN of the 22 slots are chosen from NXT, Mass Elite, CT Grizzlies, DEWLAX, Prime Time and Heroes.

Hmmm . . .

/Sarcasm off . . .
