
Four Seahawks Receive All-American Honors

The 2023 Men’s Lacrosse NAIA All-America Teams were announced by the national office Tuesday afternoon. For their performances during Keiser’s championship season, AJ Badik, Cam Provines, Christian Tomei, and Jackson Marshall all received First Team honors.
First Team All-American
AJ Badik, Freshman, Orlando, Fla.
- Garnered First Team All-American honors.
- Secured First Team All-AAC honors.
- Scored the second most (41) goals in Keiser season history.
- Recorded eight hat tricks and five games with 4+ points.
- Logged eight goals in the NAIA national championship, which is tied for the second most goals in a game in KU history.
- Named tournament MVP for his play in the NAIA Invitational Tournament. (13 goals, 16 points, five groundballs.)
Jackson Marshall, Sophomore, Newburyport, Mass.
- Named an NAIA All-American for the first time in his career.
- First Team All-AAC selection.
- Caused 23 turnovers, which is the second most in a season in KU history.
- Appeared and started all 18 games.
- Scored two goals and picked up 38 groundballs.
Cam Provines, Junior, Palm City, Fla.
- Named an NAIA First Team All-American for the second time in his career.
- Named the top face-off specialist in the AAC.
- Started and played in all 18 games.
- Scored three goals and registered four points.
- Registered a Keiser season record of 260 faceoff wins and a season-record 157 groundball pickups.
- Recorded a career-high .737 faceoff win percentage.
Christian Tomei, Freshman, Jupiter, Fla.
- Named an NAIA All-American for the first time in his career.
- Honored as an AAC First Team All-Conference selection and AAC Defensive Player of the Year.
- Also named AAC Tournament MVP.
- Set a school record for saves in a game (20) in the AAC championship game versus Cumberlands (Ky.)
- Set single-season school records for saves (212) and goalie wins (17).
- Made a spectacular save on an empty net play in the NAIA semifinal round versus Webber International.
- Finished with a 68.9 save percentage, which led the nation.
