PHILADELPHIA – The ninth-ranked Florida lacrosse team (8-3, 1-1 AAC) heads to Philadelphia to take on the Temple Owls (5-6, 0-2 AAC) on Saturday.

The conference matchup is slated for 12 p.m. on ESPN+, with Kevin Copp and Meghan Clothier on the call.

No. 9 Florida at Temple Live Stream

This is the 14th meeting between the Gators and the Owls, with Florida leading the series 13-0. The Gators hold the 5-0 advantage in Philadelphia.

Florida has outscored Temple 214-75 in the series, holding Temple to an average of 5.77 goals per game. UF averages 16.46 goals per game in the series, including a high of 21 on May 4, 2017. In the last meeting between the two teams, Florida was victorious 18-7 in Gainesville.

The Gators are coming off a 17-13 victory over then-No. 23 Penn on April 1, while Temple dropped its last contest to Cincinnati 12-9.

Scouting the Owls

  • Temple comes into Saturday’s game with a 5-6 record overall and a 0-2 record in American Athletic Conference play
  • Belle Mastropietro is lead the way offensively with 42 points (27g, 15a), followed by Mackenzie Roth’s 28 points (14g, 14a) and Amelia Wright’s 22 points (16g, 6a). Camryn Zavacky (6g, 11a), Julie Schickling (16g) and Maeve Tobin (11g, 3a) have each recorded over 10 points throughout the season thus far
  • Belle Mastropietro has registered a team-high 69 draw controls, while Katie Shallow (44) and Maddie Barber (34) have combined for 77 draw control victories in the first 11 games this season
  • Defensively, the Owls have totaled 81 caused turnovers, led by 19 from Katie Shallow. Maddie Barber and Belle Mastropietro have recorded 13 and 11 caused turnovers, respectively
