JU: Kaila Stasulli to Represent the Philippines in World Lacrosse Women’s Championship Qualifiers
Senior defender Kaila Stasulli was named to the 25-player roster for the Philippines ahead of the 2025 Asia-Pacific World Lacrosse Women’s Championship Qualifiers.
The tournament will be held from January 6-11, with the top three finishers outside of Japan qualifying for a place in the 2026 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship. The Philippines are one of four teams making their debut in the 10-team tournament.
Stasulli is coming off of an excellent junior season that saw her named the Atlantic Sun Conference Defender of the Year. She scored three goals, collected 33 ground balls, forced 15 turnovers and won 52 draw controls last season. She’s started 55 games across three seasons for Jacksonville.
Stasulli is the first Dolphin to play at the senior international level this year. Junior defender Maggie Cuddy and freshman midfielder Chloe Luther represented Canada and the Haudenosaunee Nationals, respectively, at the U20 World Championships this summer.
