JU Men’s Lacrosse Heads West for Weekend Doubleheader

Jacksonville, Fla. – The Jacksonville Men’s Lacrosse programs hits the road once again this weekend, heading west to face Denver and Air Force. 

LAST TIME OUT 
The Jacksonville Men’s Lacrosse team defeated Marquette last Saturday afternoon, 14-10, at Rock Stadium.

Max Waldbaum’s hat trick sparked the Dolphins offense. Jacob GreinerJack Dolan and Tucker Garrity followed shortly behind with two goals apiece. In all, nine different players found the goal column in the victory. 

Luke Millican earned the win in goal, stopping four shots in the first half. Ryan Della Rocco came in relief in the second half, halting 10 shots between the pipes.

WHO 
The Dolphins face Denver (2-1) for the third time in program history Saturday. The matchup is the first between the two programs since 2011. 

Jacksonville turns around and face Air Force Sunday for the 11th time in the all-time history. 

WHERE AND WHEN 
Saturday’s matchup with the Pioneers at the Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium will begin at 2 PM eastern time.

Opening faceoff Sunday at Falcon Stadium is set for 3 PM eastern time.
