Kailee O’Brien Earns USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honors

Sparks, Md – Florida Techs Kailee O’Brien has been named as an honorable Mention All-American by USA Lacrosse for the second consecutive year.
 
The Lewis Center, Ohio native picks up All-American honors after finishing the regular season being named to the 2023 All-Sunshine State Conference Second team. Along with being named Al-SSC, O’Brien she led Tech with 19 caused turnovers, the ninth most in the conference, while also recording 28 ground balls, the third-highest total this season. She also recorded seven points on five goals and two assists, with a .714 shooting percentage and shots-on-goal percentage.
 
The graduate defender closes out her career at Tech ranked in program history as having, recorded the fifth most ground balls (139), sixth-most caused turnovers (78), eighth-most career ground balls per game (2.20), eighth-most draw control wins (70), and the 10th most assists (28) among numerous single-season records.
