The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2017 NAIA Women’s Lacrosse All-American teams. Each team, first and second, consists of 15 members. The Seahawks have one member on the second team in Kristen Sedar. Sedar hails from Cattaraugus Indian Reservation, N.Y., and was the lone Seahawk named to an NAIA All-American squad. Sedar was also named to the First Team All-Independent Conference after turning in a strong first season on defense. Sedar finished the season with a team-high 23 caused turnovers, while also scooping up 29 ground balls to rank fourth on the team. Sedar also finished the season with one assist.
