
Keiser: Women’s Lacrosse Tops the Sun Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll

The Sun Conference announced the 2023 Preseason Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Poll on Thursday afternoon with Keiser picked to finish first in the conference.
Top of the League
- Keiser topped the poll with 34 total points, including four first-place votes.
- Just behind with 33 votes was SCAD-Savannah with 33 points and three first-place votes.
A look Back at Last Season
- KU finished the 2022 season with a 15-4 overall record and a perfect 6-0 record in Mid-South Conference play.
- The Seahawks won their third consecutive MSC Regular Season Championship last year and claimed their second conference tournament championship in as many years.
- The team made their fourth NAIA National Tournament appearance, falling in the quarterfinals.
- Keiser returns 13 players from last year’s squad including two-time NAIA All-American, Madison Andrews.
- Rebecca Gibson, Leah Siter, Chloe Foley, and Sydney Passaro return as captains this season as they lead the Seahawks into the first Sun Conference Women’s Lacrosse season.
