LAKE WALES, FL- The Royals hosted the visiting Anderson University in Lake Wales, Fla in a non-conference matchup.

The Royals looked for their eighth  win of the season as they faced off against Anderson. The Royals had a strong overall performance from Bailey Dykes as Dykes would score an impressive 9 goals as she remained aggressive in the match and was able to get multiple good looks for the Royals. Abbie Petrillo would score twice in the game as she split open the Anderson defense and was able to capitalize on her open shots. Summer WallsBailey Lightsey, and Monserrat Anaya-Lopez would add to the Royals totals as they finished with a strong 14 points in this match as they would secure the victory over Anderson University by a score of 14-7. Throughout the entire match, the Royals were aggressive putting up 44 shots through all four quarters of play. Playing strong defense, the Royals forced 30 turnovers from Anderson University as they prevented any open shots for Anderson throughout the entire match. Both teams were strong with their clears as Anderson would go 17-18 and the Royals would go 20-21. A strong overall performance in this matchup, the Royals recorded their eighth win of the season. The Royals look to continue their impressive play this season as they face off against their Crooked Lake rivals from Webber International University on March 16th at 1:00 PM.
